Where Data Meets Defense

For over a decade, I worked in data analytics, digging into SQL queries, building dashboards in Power BI, and finding patterns in complex datasets. I loved turning raw numbers into stories that helped businesses make smarter decisions.

But over time, I realized there was something more I wanted to do. Data isn’t just about insights, it’s also about protection. That curiosity pulled me toward cybersecurity, where every log, alert, and anomaly tells a story about defending what matters.

Today, I’m building hands-on labs and projects in SIEM, SOC monitoring, threat hunting, IAM, and vulnerability management. Along the way, I’ve earned certifications like CompTIA Security+, ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), Azure Data Fundamentals, and Google Advanced Data Analytics.

Currently, I’m diving into cloud security with AWS Cloud Practitioner training and exploring security automation.

This portfolio is where those two worlds come together, my foundation in data and my growing expertise in cybersecurity. It’s a place to share my journey, showcase projects, and highlight how I’m blending analytics with defense.

Bike Sales Dashboard

The Bikes Sales project involves analyzing sales data from Adventure Works, a fictional bicycle manufacturer. This includes importing and cleaning the data, creating relationships between tables, and developing interactive dashboards with visuals like charts and graphs. The project aims to provide actionable insights into sales performance to improve business strategies and decision-making processes.

Grocery Store Analysis

In this Grocery Store Analysis, I delved into Maven Market's data, transforming raw information into meaningful insights. Using Power Query, I prepared and modeled the data, setting the stage for analysis. Through Power BI's visualization capabilities, I brought the dashboard to life with measures, custom columns, and intricate relationships. The goal is to inspire interest in practical data projects and showcase the synergy between data manipulation and visualization.

Toy Shop Sales

In this project, I've thoroughly analyzed data from Maven Toys, a fictional toy store chain in Mexico, covering product details, store metrics, daily sales, and inventory levels. The goal was to provide actionable insights to support their expansion plans and boost profits. Through visually engaging dashboards, we presented findings that can help Maven Toys identify growth opportunities and enhance their product offerings. This project equips Maven Toys with the tools to make strategic decisions and thrive in the competitive toy market.
